*we diverge for a minute or two trying to figure out the rest of the theme, mostly failing; I also talk a little about intervals*
Me: You could get a Harry Potter book to learn it from.
Student: Well, I'm already asking for a Lord of the Rings piano book for Christmas.
It's great when a student likes what they're doing enough to ask for a music book for Christmas.
