#StuffstudentsSay
A student was quietly making weird noises to himself while I wrote something.
Me: ...what are you doing? Student: Making noises like I'm barfing. Sometimes it's better to not know. Sometimes kids ideas of what words mean is different from my idea of what words mean.
Me: How did practicing go this week? Student: Good. Me: How many days did you practice? Student: One. My 8-year-old piano student was massaging his hands, popping his fingers, or something similar:
Me: Are you ok? Student: Yeah, I just had to bring my hands to the finger parts shop. Like an auto parts shop, except for fingers. |
